That’s how it should be! Else the relationships are based in inauthenticity & are not truly sustainable over a long period of time, leave alone a lifetime! Genuine ness is underrated & overlooked in Indian society, esp. in married relationships. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing on which any worthwhile honest relationship can be based, with in laws included!! Everything else is merely draining. Basic Respect is good but outer coverups & sugary sweet conduct can not hide the love or depth that might be missing inside, for long! So, staying true to who you are is always GOLD!🙂

It's the best feeling to have parents at your place. I didn't see mine for more than a year and I was going crazy. First thing my hubby did after lock down was over, is to take me back to New York....I felt so good. May allthe parents live long and healthy life. May the old age become easy on them. Aameen.
