Dear Rinpuche, I thoroughly enjoyed your lecture. I found your teachings similar to the teachings given by the Theravada teachers. But Mahayana/ Vajrayana teachers often look down on Theravada followers. They call it a lower vehicle and their practice is only for their own liberation where’s Mahayana practice is for entire sentient beings. I have heard his holiness the Dalai Lama say Theravada teachings are collection of Lord Buddha’s public lectures meaning Mahayana/Vajrayana teachings are secretive or privately given to special or higher intellect students therefore it’s a higher vehicle I would be grateful if you could kindly explain why they differ with each other Thank you so much
