Dude pretty much made Lofi before it was a thing. He was a visionary musician. I've watched Samurai Champloo three times over the course of my life and each time, I am shocked by the soundtrack's quality. There is no other show that has been made before or since that sounds like it. His work with Fat Jon was also incredible. There's really just no aspect to his work that wasn't noteworthy.
