If u look into the video at 22:25 onwards u will see that before marriage the dulhan sits on right side of sanjay. After they get married she (Bharya or wife) will sit on left side of Sanjay , watch at 26:00 onwards;and whenever they perform any future religious ceremony she will always sit on left side of Sanjay. that is the tradition.
