I played this game the summer after my 8th grade year, and I remember it so well. I ended the game early, and the reason why was because I entered the kitchen and saw a black shadow figure pass the kitchen window and I knew it’s not like someone was coming from the backyard, because the figure was inside my house. I played with an ex friend of mine who committed a year later. We played the game together but at the time, my house was super small and her and I decided to split up because the first like 25 minutes we were playing, nothing happened so I thought we wouldn’t see any sort of signs if we kept playing the game together, so I said we should split. She went into the bathroom while I entered the kitchen and I saw the shadow figure and I screamed “Anika, turn the lights on!” And she came into the kitchen and I was screaming at her as I was telling her what I saw. My 2 younger cousins were with us too, but the older child was too scared to play, so I gave her my iPad to watch KZbin and told her to lay on the living room floor with a blanket over her head. (While my youngest cousin was already asleep in my room). I personally haven’t had experiences since I ended the game early (as far as I know). So the ex friend that played with me… she was schizophrenic and dealing with a lot of stuff, and she committed, so at this point we weren’t friends anymore. But my best friend, her brother, & I decided to play with a Ouija Board a week before I moved out of that same house, (which was November 2019) and I recorded on this very old camera, and in the video, you see my ex friend behind my best friend. The one who committed. I still have the camera somewhere, but at the time me and my best friend played with the Ouija board, my ex friend that played The Midnight Game with me, had already taken her life. I just wanted to share that little story. Although me and my ex friend weren’t friends at the time she took her life, I miss her and I wish I could’ve been there for her. All I could think about while watching these midnight game videos was that experience I had.

I always wonder if it was me that caused her to end her life because before she took her life (I wanna say 2 weeks before) we got into an argument and stopped being friends. So I still have that burden on me like “did I kill her?”😔

Corey is hyperactive or maybe being over enthusiastic or too curious. Sam is in denial, and maybe the least believing in the ritual which is probably why he is a target since they said it is used as punishment. ,unless that's because he lit up all their candles, they should be bringing their own materials because I personally think that amount of salt is enough for all of them. , Jake and the girl didn't have to be active participants in the first place if they chose to, it's a ritual so they're considered participants even if not active ones as long as they are on the immediate vicinity. ,they'll be just participating as attendants instead of actual performers and much likely less risky for everyone.

Dear Sam, You should play Purple Hearts with everyone in the house! It's a really fun game! Someone lies down on the ground while everyone else chants "Purple hearts. Purple hearts." Then one person has to rub the person on the grounds temples and ask if they are asleep, if they say "Yes" then the same person who rubbed the temples has to ask the person on the ground questions about what they see and where they are.
