FYI, I believe the weight of these come from the bottom and sides being one piece. There's a vid on here with Greg describing the design. I had an RL-3. It really is like a 335/LP combo. Very nice.

not at all.... it feel awesome and it STAYS IN TUNE better than my GIbsons or Ovations it is Totally NARLEY,,,, as heavy as any old pre 96 Les Paul.... it "feels" like a really well made instrument... not issue(s) with the wiring either.... IT's "A" Solid Performer... buoght an acoustic for my Son 2

I agree with Nancy, great guitar that feels very well made. It sounds more like a Les Paul than a 335 imo.

No negatives about this guitar, including it's balance. It IS heavy though, if that's a negative for you.

I just picked up a Samick UM3, I am blown away at the quality and sound, for the price the frets were perfect, neck straight and action is super low. This was from factory, don't waste your cash on brand name , this company makes guitars for every other company, this is their custom designs , and arw quality, and priced incredibly low
