Tänään jatkamme matkaa lukemalla Ensimmäisestä Mooseksen kirjasta luvut 26-29, sekä Johanneksen evankeliumin ensimmäisen luvun jakeesta 15 eteenpäin.
Lukemalla Vanhaa Testamenttia huomaamme, miten rankkaa ja epävarmaa elämä oli tuolloin. Ihmiset asuivat teltoissa ja olivat jatkuvassa vaarassa. He jopa väittivät olevansa sisaruksia suojellakseen perhettään.
Raamatun tekstit tarjoavat meille syvällistä ymmärrystä siitä, miten Jumala on aina ollut uskoviensa turvana ja suojana. Vaikka ajat ovat muuttuneet, Jumalan lupaukset ja liitot ovat edelleen voimassa. Meille, jotka uskomme Jeesukseen, nämä lupaukset ovat edelleen voimassa ja saamme osaksemme Jumalan siunauksen.

Welcome to our deep dive into the world of the Bible! In this video, we blend the beauty of the Finnish summer with the lessons from the Old Testament, specifically Genesis chapters 26-29, and the first chapter of the Gospel of John, starting from verse 15.
Reading the Old Testament, we see how harsh and uncertain life was back then. People lived in tents and were constantly in danger. They even claimed to be siblings to protect their families.
The scriptures provide us with profound insights into how God has always been a protector for those who believe in Him. Though times have changed, God's promises and covenants remain valid. For us who believe in Jesus, these promises are still in effect, and we receive God's blessings.
In this video, we also reflect on the importance of understanding the difference between true spirituality and false spiritual practices. We warn against false spiritual forces and emphasize how Jesus came to bring us light and truth.
Finally, we turn to the Gospel of John, where we see how the texts of the Old and New Testaments beautifully intertwine. The message and life of Jesus are just as important to us today as they were in His time.
