"New York ka arabpati !!" Don't write anything you want just to create sensation. If he was so rich, then why didn't he produce any movie? Filthy rich people become producer-actors, rather than aspiring actors. Also, just living in an apartment in Manhattan doesn't mean that the person is millionaire. More than two-third people in Manhattan live on rent, as apartments/ houses are very expensive. Samir had a good personality, but for an outsider, breaking into Bollywood is quite difficult now.

Very sad that he didn't do well in films. When I first saw him, it was in a sensuous ad with Mahima Chaudhary on TV in the early 90s. They're both by a fireplace, and there's no lewd action, just eye contacts. Oooh! That was so sensuous. Both looked very good together. But both didn't fare well in films sadly. I couldn't get Sameer out of my mind. I didn't know his name, and there was no internet. Wherever I saw his pic accidentally, I used to read about him and that's how I found out his name. He was one of the most handsome guys I've seen. Bollywood needs actors to tick multiple checkboxes. He didn't have 6 packs, wasn't loud, etc. But he looked very cute. Didn't know he fell for two other models. I wouldn't have liked him pairing with them if I knew. Coincidentally, Neelam was my favorite too. So cute. Thank God my two favorites met and got married. For me it's like a fairy tale. So sad to hear he battled with depression and had suicidal thoughts, while I admired him in my mind.
