I'm watching all your tutorials in no particular order but in this one, at the stage just before you started to ink in the lines for the rosette pattern, at last I started to see other possible designs based on the same construction. I shall experiment with tracing paper and see what happens :) Thank you as always for teaching us this very elegant pattern. I love seeing the stars developing between the shield shapes, absolutely fascinating.

Will watch the rest at the weekend - very helpful indeed, you've put an incredible amount of time & effort into these. Paint-resistant outlining is a brilliant idea especially for sharp-cornered shapes where paint alone makes them difficult to define for the inexperienced.
