I really love this song because in a narrative+lyrical context it speaks both to Firefly's themes and to Robin and Sunday's backstory and philosophical split. Robin's other songs have had nods to Acheron and Aventurine (and probably others!) They did a really good job making Robin's songs not just gorgeous and fitting for her as an idol character, but making them relevant to the Penacony story and characters.

Dude, Honkai Star Rail is one of the very few games that legitimately made me cry from how beautiful and epic it was and it was in Penacony every time. Truly the best they've ever done. Honestly amazing the work they've done with the story, atmosphere and especially the music.

While the standard 4/4 time signature works for this song, I can hear a strong 6/8 time signature mainly from the piano. Listen closely for a waltz like tempo from the piano instead of a standard 4/4.
