Don't need an office space with fancy screens. Don't need to wake up 7am. Don't need to spend ages looking at a screen. Don't need to make KZbin videos or educational courses. Don't work particularly hard. Thats what a real trading day looks like.

@@SamKBTrading The whole idea of trading is freedom. You've basically made it a 9-5 office job. You can be a great trader from your bed, in your pjs with a coffee in hand. You're selling this notion of needing this incredible setup in the city centre with multiple screens, PowerPoints and endless TA be successful. This is not true. What you need is a strategy and lots of backtesting to validate it. Thats most of the battle (along with sticking to it). Then the next step is find the one with the least screen time that gets you enough money. Free time is the most valuable asset of them all.

@@philwright4826 I agree with you 100%. except we don’t say you need a setup and an office in the city to be profitable. We only have an office because I run a trading floor and fund traders with capital. Now, I’d like to hear you explain how you can day trade without being at your desk for most of the day? The fact is, trading is not about freedom. That’s just what scammers sell it as. Trading is a job, granted it’s a job you can do from your own home, etc, but it’s not financial freedom or some easy career you can do with little effort.

Lol I wake up everyday at 5:30 to keep backtesting and learning, looking at the charts to see what happened on Asia session and all that stuff. I agree with the office and fancy screens. (You don't need more than 2 screens, they think having 5 screens makes you a better trader or something). We are trading for freedom, not to make this another 9-5 job going to the office
