Can you Wakeboard on a Kiteboard?

I love you Sam! @ . 4:20 "The biggest production kiteboards are 142-145cm..." My first kiteboard love is the Spleen Door 159cm! All board makers have a lightwind model that are 155cm+ for us in areas that don't regularly have 20+knots wind ;) . Like the Slingshot Glide measuring in at 159cm also. (Cabrinha and Lightwave has a 165cm) Super easy to learn with in lighter winds or with heavier riders. Once you get better (a little like Sam) you'll want to use smaller boards . \m/

the refraction is still my alltime favorite board, both for kite- and wakeboarding. Lookin forward trying it in even bigger! the similarity to the whip tho a tad bit softer and thinner ;)

Hey! When you were takling about the boards for the cable, you focused on riding obstacles. What would be the best bord caracteristics for doing air tricks on the cable? Is it just the same? Or is a stiffer bord with lots of rocker and channels the thing to go for?

Heyy!! Great content! I just wanted to say ive actually been using a wakeboard for kiting since 8 years now, i got so used to riding with wakeboards that kiteboards feel super weird for me becuz of their size:/ i ride 152 usually but got the nomad 145 2021 i feel like you should definitely make a video trying a wakeboard with kiting!! Would be excited to see it really ads a different style to riding in a good wayy in my opinion😊

Hi Sam, thanks for the great video. I have been using my asylum 138 at the cable, we only have 1 kicker:) Yesterday i tried the shredtown 144 that I bought and it felt super stiff on the landings.. Might need getting used to it but was suprised how much harder the landings felt on my knees and back 🤔 Now thinking of selling the shredtown, do you have any suggestions for a softer more forgiving board..?

Yes I would suggest the new 147 Refraction... Or wakeboards.. water gunn or terrain or even the nomad...

Hey, yes for sure. It will really help your board skills but it has no grind base, so if you want to ride cable all the time and hit the obstacles then it would be worth getting a board with a grind base

You obviously didn't try the Waynman's joke kite board if you think there aren't kite boards with too much rocker :) . Would be nice to make a video about different types of kite boards how they perform with flat, choppy and waves conditions, and when you want to do freestyle versus when you want to cruise or jump.

Typically, cable boards do have channels.
