I remember Sammys notes floating in and out of the music at the all night sessions at Colyers studio 51.They were great times,I loved. 'The world is waiting for the sunrise ' which was often played at 6am before we emerged into the street.

My 14 year old son Cameron(reed and Piano player) will enjoy Rimington's sound and style. It seems that some of the best vintage comes from Europe...Tasty. R

what great music - love Sammy by himself with a fine rhythm section like this one - even the bass lady follows the melody on her solo - he knows where to find the right musicians who can really swing with him!

mrhoolie that's Annie Hawkins she played with most of his tours in the 70's one of the best Bass players ever Annie trained at Conservatoire in Australia prior to coming to the UK with her husband Max Colllie. In the early 60's.
