What's Miller so happy about?!
Well, on the day of filming the sun was shining and Sammy thought it the perfect time to kickstart some of the recent restoration projects!
First up was the 1930 OEC. This now completed restoration project represents the culmination of months of head-scratching and problem-solving by Sammy and Jim in the workshop 🛠
Sammy couldn't wait to show you the other project nearing completion: the 1929 AKD (Abingdon King Dick). Despite some healthy scepticism from Jim, Sammy decided to try firing up its Swiss engine right on the bench... Stay tuned for the results 😉
Next to be introduced to you is the Museum's latest acquisition, a 1929 Rudge Speedway bike that Sammy found at an auction in Chippenham.
⚠️ The bike's previous owner is believed to be a speedway rider named Denny Belcher. If anyone can give any information as to him or the bike's history, please do leave a comment! ⚠️
Ahead of Rickman day at the Museum (which took place last Sunday), Jim was also keen to fire up Derek Rickman's Metisse with a Matchless engine.
Thanks as always for watching - we hope you enjoy! 🏍
