I could say this is my favourite vlog from Bogota. I love the editing skills, the way you guys highlight the people with the 3 second video shots. The chemistry between the 2 of you is amazing too, how you are able to educate the viewers about the history of every place you visit. And last but not least I really have enjoyed how you guys have tried to connect with the colombian people. Great job!

It brings me so joy to see your many interactions with the locals! That is what travel is all about, and it can often be lost in many people's travels and/or videos. Thank you for sharing it all with us! The ant eating clips were the best. 🤣

Couldn’t agree more! It’s brings us so much joy to meet new people and share special moments with them. A lot of times it’s hard to capture those moments on camera but we are excited to introduce more of this this in future videos. The locals trying the ants were by far the highlight of the video 😂 What a great memory!

Loved the interaction with locals ♥the girls at the end trying the ants were so cute. I've tried them once in a similar setting at school. It's so fun seeing everyone a bit grossed out but then the flavor not bad, kinda like peanuts.

I used to work there (Usaquen market) selling some things my wife used to craft. And it is sad to see how they overprice things for you as foreigners. And everyone used to tell us we were greedy for keeping the same price always but we were actually charging the real price. either way... I loved the video. I feel really happy to see how you guys enjoyed Bogota, I really miss being there.

This was so fun! Street food desert is a lot like the Stroop waffels you get in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 but also with the cheese reminded of Marquesitas in Mexico 🇲🇽 except they make it fresh and hot and roll them like a burrito before it gets hard and put chocolate/ cheese instead of caramel My next door neighbours just came back from 3months in Colombia 🇨🇴 and loved it Thank you 🙏🏼 Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧

Great Video! I laughed a lot with the ant part, and the market is pretty cool. Don't mind the guy who says the prices were too high. I purchased a mochila Arhuaca for 200K in 2010. It is hand made and it takes a long time to make them. One should acknowledge the work of artisans.

Hi the Ants are not a local dish for Bogota , this comes from another region called Santander. however because Bogota is the Capital City of Colombia then that's why you will find a mix of traditions brought from other regions for touristic display or for people who migrated to Bogota from other regions and do miss their traditions. :)

You absolutely right Tom. The juices in Colombia are some of the best things to enjoy. They are always fresh and there are soooo many to try. Like when you go to eat somewhere and the list of juice flavors is like an entire page with like 30 options. Or when you decide to take fruit home. Sooo many to pick from. You could literally try a different fruit every day for a month and never have the same one twice.

Happened to just find your channel today and decided to backup to Colombia. Enjoying your creativity, the capturing of people and information you provide. We live in Ecuador, originally from Canada. Loved the ant eating segment and wanted to mention that since I know you are/were in Ecuador, you may want to try the tiny snails Plaza de los Ponchos. There is a woman that walks around with a cart and they cost me $0.50 for the small bag, she even gave a sample before I bought. I have never enjoyed snailes before but these ones I could handle.
