Tips for Boba (Beginner-Expert) (Mainly Hvv): -Melee is one of the best in the game. With heavy damage, fast fire rate, and a SWEETSPOT for increased damage, it can't go wrong. Also, It's BM. (Fellow experts, please correct me if his sweetspot got updated/removed). -Holding the jetpack button while on the ground will force Boba to jump, then jetpack. This causes some people to forget about their jump button. Instead of automatically jumping, get used to MANUALLY pressing the jump button (X on Ps4, A on Xbox, Space on PC) THEN pressing the jetpack button. As the automatic jump has a minor delay. -His jetpack is faster than sprinting. Use this to get horizontal distance, HOWEVER... if you need vertical distance, jetpack without moving. The jetpack will begin BOOSTING you upwards, allowing you to get the high ground. And we all know high ground is best. -From what I know, Boba is the only hero in the game that can dodge midair. Cool thing is, he can also recharge dodges midair. Second cool thing is, when he dodges, he doesn't fall downwards briefly (even if he is out of fuel). Use this to feather your jetpack, as this can keep you off the ground just long enough to get outta there! -Concussion rocket is a cooler tool than you think, it can really schmack your opponent. It will force blaster users to reload, blind everyone in it's radius, and will make lightsaber users impossible to track you. -JUSTICE FROM DA SKY! Use barrage to finish off blocking Lightsaber heroes low on health. -Can't hit BB8? DONT FRET! Spam your melee button and FRY THAT LITTLE SHIT! (OPTIONAL TIP, THIS IS MY PREFERENCE). -If you are having trouble with an Aimbotting Finn, concussion him. It will stop his aimbot. -For some reason, luke and Anakin players will go ALL OUT to make sure you die at least once. Like seriously. Their horny about killing you. Just lure them towards your team while bullying them. -Chewy is a fun matchup. It's a shotgun style bowcaster, easily can hit you while midair (I also main chewie). Just outgun him and stay in da sky. Even though he can hit you, and it can freak you out, his slam and grenade will be much worse. So stay flying. -Lando is a little fuck. He thinks he's a funny man. But he ain't. Don't fly near his radar, 'cause he can EMP you, out radar his radar with your "For the Hunt." There's nothing you can do against his 2,000,000,000 damage auto aim ability. So just. Don't exist too close. if he smoke bombs, you barrage him. ------Most people Treat the Jetpack as their primary way of moving around, and treat "For the Hunt" as an emergency backup. I don't. I HIGHLY recommend treating "For the Hunt" as your main jetpack, and treating the other one as a reserve. Always pop for the hunt if: •You need to fly. •It's not on cool down. •Your balls are huge. •And you wanna be cool af.

Most of these tips are vary true thr I argue that he is one of the best heroes to take on saber heros as when your on the ground you can use your jet pack as and quick doge to make them over extend and *Wif* then punish by puting a 3 round burst in their head. rinse and repeat but shake up your approaches so they have to keep guessing as most saver heros just blindly run at you. oh always shot at them why jumping there defenceless while air born and can't block I think for the hunt is a great ambush ability if you want to go quiet and the come out of nowhere and blow them up

Top Tier Boba Tip: On Geonosis, pick Boba if you have the chance on the droids side, then fly behind enemy lines and hop on the backs of the AT-TE walkers and fire into their weak spot with your gun and missiles. You can take one down in around 30 seconds with Boba alone, without starcards.

You can stay in the air indefinitely if you have a) the card where concussion rocket gives you 4 secs of fuel and b) decreased cooldowns in the air - by the time the 4 seconds is up you get “For the Hunt” back if your lucky and literally don’t touch the ground

Personally I like to use Focalize card: for the damage increase Fuel Efficiency: to fly longer and the last card (I forgot the name) but it gives you a quicker cooldown on abilities while you're in the air, which goes well with fuel efficiency. If you time it correctly you can use for the hunt to get unlimited jet pack fuel, and once its over Boba will begin to use his limited fuel, but by the time you hit the ground for the hunt will have been fully recharged thanks to the card and you'll be back in the air. Plus you get to fire your rockets so much faster.

Fun fact: mathematically, Fuel Efficiency is better than Quick Refill because the fuel becomes more valuable as it recharges so you could either refill it .15x faster or have it be .15x more valuable, which means that if your base regen is 1 second's worth of fuel for flying every 1 second (not the actual numbers but an example), then you could get either 1.15 seconds worth of flying for 1 second spent regen'ing it or... 1.15 seconds worth of flying for 1 second spent regen'ing it. The only difference is Quick Refill only makes it come back faster whereas Fuel Efficiency in addition to making the fuel more valuable as it comes back (which in practice is the same thing as making it come back faster) it also lets you fly longer as it effectively increases your max fuel.

Unfortunately his kit, stats and star cards are not that great on top of that they nerfed many of his great traits. If not nerfed some are also bugged and never fixed. He’s fun if your a trained vet. I run his fast recharge card while flying. If they gave him ADS and fixed his bugs I think it would have put him in a great place.

Guide from somebody who mained Boba Fett: -His wrist rockets are pretty hit or miss. Godly at mid range on very grouped up opponents but you need to have your reaction time right with these things as if you get someone with them you need to IMMEDIATELY aim at the next guy or you have just wasted half of your ability. Once you get good at getting direct hits with his rockets try out the Focalise star card. Good against lightsaber characters though. -His concussion missile can sometimes be the difference between winning or losing a fight. It’s extremely effective in Co-op if you can get the hoards with it, as the AI are programmed to stand still while concussed and not shoot so they can get bumfucked. It still fucks up players though, and that interval where they can’t shoot is enough for you to potentially one shot head shot multiple enemies. It also cancels abilities like Leia’s rapid fire and Finn’s aim bot, and is a sure way to piss off the Jedi in HVV. -You need to train your headshot accuracy to get good at this character. You can down a standard health hero in just one mag if you get headshots. While you can’t aim down sights with boba his gun is still really good at all ranges. My playstyle that has served me really well is to peak corners in between the bursts and aim for the head. -Don’t use his jet pack too much. If you’ve got a good position then hold it and use it, don’t waste the good position you have just because you wanna fly again. Boba has the worst hero health pool in the game and using his jet pack constantly will put you in the open. Use it to re-position and fly between objectives, or do the occasional air strike. If you train your aim enough you can get kills with his gun from the air but this is also occasional. -You’ve got to constantly be looking at your health. If you lose a lot because you screw up, go for the easy kills to build it back up again. You have to be cautious and not put yourself in the open as much as you can. -You can piss off Anakin players by dodging mid air while he pulls you towards him. If you spam the dodge button while he’s pulling your ass to him to get shish kebabed, you can cancel it and fly away. Playing Boba in HVV and playing him correctly in that mode will be one of the funniest and most adrenaline fueled things you will ever do in battlefront 2. Narrowly escaping force abilities with your jet pack and dodge is just way too funny and terrifying at the same time, but it is doable.

Mini tip: I see a lot of bobas pretty much staying high up in the air and peppering people: while hilarious, the surprising amount of damage fall off on his blaster means you are dealing far from the damage that boba can deal. Don’t think you’re a flying sniper, that 3 round burst is a monster from close to mid range. So keep that jet pack on to make you hard to hit

Best Way to use Boba is as a Sharpshooter. Just decimate enemy Troops from afar. Rain Hell on them from above. And if Things get risky, you can still fly away.

His left ability is Kowakian strike, where his Kowakian monkey lizard covers the targets screen and laughs, rendering the target immobile for 3 seconds. His middle ability is Credit Shower. Bounty hunter allies gain huge damage and health buffs. Non bounty hunter allies just gain a small portion of health. His right ability is gluttony. Eats a target with less than 10% health, gaining the victims remaining health as his own +health on kill.

I think that the For The Hunt ability reveal for teammates does work but only on the minimap and doesn't last as long as the ability actually does for boba fett. I think this because I was in a game with someone and I think they used the ability and the enemies were revealed on the the minimap but only for like 4 seconds.

I know this is old now but I’ve recently just started playing again and I’ve been playing with heroes I never really played with that much. Watching your footage is sick I’m so bad with boba but when I came up against a good one with a saber hero I did find it hard. Luke and anakin I found good to take him down in one on one scenario’s but rey and obi wan could shut him down in a team sense as long as you had a good blaster hero on your team or a very useful anakin then you can support them but no necessarily do the damage yourself. Shutting down his abilities makes it hard for boba to thrive. The only blaster hero I used regularly was the princess really. I mainly played heroes and villains as I was handy at the game but sometimes found it tough to get a hero in the other modes some dudes would get them quick and then not die the whole game.

2 big things sam missed. 1. Boba's melee is almost like a lightsaber in terms of damage. You will 1 or 2 shot enemies with his flame thrower and people usually dont expect that to happen. However it isnt effective against players who know about his melee and are good at dodging. But by using melee to bait them to dodge a certain direction, you can fire his gun and get some free shots in. 2. For the hunt also makes boba invisible on the minimap allowing him to easily sneak up on a hero or flank a whole line of enemies without them seeing it coming, as well as preparing yourself with perfect positions to aim headshots and use rocket barrage. I have very aggressive boba vids on my channel if youd like to see me taking advantage of the melee and for the hunt invisibility.
