Sammy Hitzke Fishing yeah mate managed to get half dozen keepers and about the same undersized over the past couple days . We had the aunts uncles and cousins over for a fresh mackerel feast it was great . Definitely feel like a good fisherman when you can feed everyone. All thanks to your vids thanks again . Now we would like to catch some long tail just can’t seem to find them we’ve found a lot of Mack tuna which are fun.

Sammy, have tried the small wire clips with swivel that Halco makes on your lures. You should try them if you haven't, you'll lose less lures.

Apart from brief period either side of the change, I have often found the tide raging past so fast they are often difficult to fish. In your video there doesn't seem to be much run??? Did you pick a small tide run??? cheers Mal.

G’day Mal, cheers mate appreciate it! I didn’t chose that day based on the tides, it was the only day with semi decent weather! I actually prefer a bit more run. I find the Mack’s are a little less fussy and more willing to smack a lure. Better Reaction bite I find 👌👍👍

@@SammyHitzkeFishing them schooly mackerel is what we call Spanish mackerel and you Spanish are our king mackerel either way cooked right they taste great. Use about a 6in lite wire leader or small piece of surgical tubing b4 the lure stops/ slows the bite offs
