That short bill spearfish is only the second I’ve ever seen - the first being one that the mullet netters caught off the beach earlier this year believe it or not! They look like a wahoo bred with with a marlin or sailfish 😂👌 what was it like on the plate?? Keep up the great vids mate 👍

Congratulations on the spear fish . We have managed to get 2 of them in the last 2 years . Both while chasing yellowfin fin down south. Both were caught out really wide . The first small one was on a skirt and the second was on a profidgy . I think that they don’t get much bigger than that one you caught. Our big one was just a smudge under 2 meters . The mount has just been finished as well as a big bluefin. Just need to pick them up .
