The Apenmine Mountains of Samnium? So what? Greece is seventy percent mountainous and the Greeks introduced the Hoplite Phalanx. The Linothorax was worn not only by Greek Hoplites, and later by peltasts. The Linothorax was worn by Persians, Thracians, Scythians, Etruscans and later by some Galatians (Eastern Gauls). Don't forget that the Monarchical Roman Hoplites wore the Linothorax, as did the Carthaginians. So your statement about the Samnite warriors wearing the Linothorax is very possible, and it's a good call 👍👍

@@Arssir but he’s not speaking Latin, he’s using the English cuirass which comes from French, which itself comes from Latin. And if you Google three disc cuirass you’ll find the wiki article on the armor.
