SAMOA DUNES Yamaha Banshee 350 Sport Quad ATV Riding in Northern California

I grew up 2-3 hrs away from here we go camping here almost every year, these sand dunes are super fun only had got stuck 1-2 times in those dunes, 10/10 definitely would recommend if you want to ride in sand or somewhere close to the beach. Nice vid 👍

Nice Samoa dunes are so small after going to Oregon but live in arcata and hit Samoa up would love to ride w you next time ur on the coast looks like ur in the Redding area never ridden but been wanting to go do trails above Shasta dam.

Man that looks like it was a Blast! I haven't ridden sand in like 2-3 years at least. The only Dunes near me is Pismo/Oceano and they have been shutdown For like 10 months now. I want to ride some dunes very badly! Supposed to be heading to the Desert in the morning but I've been pretty sick and feeling horrible, so I'm going to miss it :( It's not the Rona at least.

But we are heading back to the Desert Next Weekend also, so I won't be missing that trip. My Banshee is finally running good and is fun to ride again. Only small things went wrong. Silencer Pipe hanger split in two and the silencer was hanging off, had to use vice grips to hold it, tore a pod filter and had to go to a stock airbox, so she ran pretty rich until WOT, but now I have new hangers and new Pod Filters. Can't wait to get back out there. I just need to figure out a way to get GoPro Footage. My new helmet has a vent on the top right in the middle where I normally mount mine.

i just bought the KAN pipe hangers for my green shee. my wife super glued hers together and rode it with a tiny screw clamp for the day. i laughed at her for it but years later they are still holding on there even without the tiny clamp lol

@@trailblogger Lol. My uncle just drilled two holes through his and put bolts and nuts through it and ran it forever like that. I was thinking about the solid mounts, but was worried it might carry vibration or noise.

@@trailblogger I'm not lol. I've only ever built older 2 stroke motors out of 2 wheelers. I will be the first to admit when I don't know something, and I really don't know transmissions. I'm still trying to diagnose what is wrong with my raptor...

@@blueduck8431 she still acting up even after you adjusted the TPS and all that? I bought the 2019 YXZ gear set for my 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000R it has a sequential 5 speed gearbox like a little rally car. Need someone with a shop, a press, and the courage to dig into her lol.

@@trailblogger oh man, that is above my pay grade lol. Yeah, my rappy has one of those mysterious run like ceap then run just fine problems...have new tps on the way. New fuel map from Mr. Cuervo too...will install and calibrate tps to power commander and hope that is it. Mr. Cuervo thinks it's my wire harness...I'm really hoping it's not lol

@@blueduck8431 both of mine can be finicky in the cold weather until they are really warmed up. probably asked you this before but fresh spark plug in there? its a tiny little plug that can fuel fowl easily if you goose the throttle hard before it is warmed up completely. raptor has a weird automatic choke that makes it run extremely rich until fully warmed up.

i like the k&n with outerwears because i think they breath little better and repel water with the outer skin
