SAMOA: Manase Beach with pretty beach huts (fales)

Beach fales of Manase Beach, Island of Savaii, Samoa - the beach huts, beach fales of Manase Beach on the Samoan island of Savaii. Let's travel to the fascinating island country of Samoa in the Pacific Ocean and let's visit the largest of the Samoan islands, the island of Savai'i (or Savaii). We are going to visit Manase Beach which is a village on the north coast of Savai'i island. Manase Beach is situated by the sea with a white sandy beach, Manase Beach has become a popular tourist destination since the 1990s with low budget and locally owned beach fale accommodation.
A beach fale is a simple thatched hut in Samoa. Beach fales are also common in other parts of Polynesia. They have become popular in tourism as a low budget accommodation situated by the coast, built with a few posts, no walls and a thatched roof with a round or oval shape.
We are going to visit several of these beach fales, go inside and examine what they look like.

What a beautiful beach! I love water that colour - it shows that there's a clean sandy bottom. It reminds me of the beaches all over the Whitsunday Islands off Nth Queensland.. But don't worry - so long as you're safe and happy where you are' that's the main thing right now. And we'll still be right here when you can get back... I'M more determined than ever to make sure that you get to see our beautiful Fraser Island - with a friendly guide : ). And our whale watching season is only 7 weeks from starting and lasts until mid-October. They're expecting a record number of whales thid yrat, too! I've been out every year without fail except last year (oh yrs CoVid, of course) but hopefully your return will coincide with hundreds of Humpbacks at play right here in our Bay! @@VicStefanu HELLO Vic! Yes, Far Nth Qld has beautiful EVERYTHING that a 'water-baby' could possibly hope for - including that beautiful reef! And the Great Dividing Range West of Cairns is beautiful too - with even more water in Lakes Eacham, Bareen and Tinaroo - plus more gorgeous, clear, fresh-water rivers, lots of waterfalls and deep rock swiming holes amid tropical rain forests. I grew up with the Whitsundays right on my doorstep so I've been spoiled for beautiful scenery all my life. It's a big country, and I've been all over it and around it several times, but Qld will always be my favourite State - and home! Take very good care of yourself until then! XX
