A lot of us Island people mention the disconnect between our parents as the catalyst for our waywardness. Speaking for myself, it’s too bad that I didn’t realize early on that they really had my best interest and they wanted me to succeed but didn’t know how to guide us with wisdom and compassion mixed in with tough love. It wasn’t until I started walking with the LORD where my eyes were opened and saw how satan was destroying our people for lack of vision. What the devil meant for evil, God turns it for good.
