No to project Milroe ... 15 td's .. 11 int's ... he a project like Richardson ... NOOOOO to a total project ... I'd draft Jeanty ... maybe BAMA guard Tyler Booker in the 2nd ... Trade up if needed to get a QB with our 1st 3rd rd pick ... Dillon Gabriel (Who Brady & Nick Saban think will play Sunday's) .. perhaps Kyle McCord. ... And I'd NOT draft a safety .... we have plenty of safeties to resign and guys like Chris Smith & Trey Taylor in the wings.

@@CasonovaCorkClub Chris Smith and Trey taylor haven't even played well enough to get on the field. Iowa actually has a history a great NFL safeties. Resign mohrig Epps for a year too see if he stays healthy. I like the idea of Milroe because we have AOC. Ideally we never even need Milroe but he can develop for 2-3 years behind a cheap AOC contract see what we have and not pay QBs anything

Another safety is almost the last thing we need. 1) Need a QB to develop. I have Dart and you have Milroe. 2) Need a #1 WR. 3) Need a #1 RB. 4) Need a beastly guard like JPJ. Hopefully address WR in free agency. Otherwise getting a #1 WR with a third rounder is kind of iffy.

When you do these simulations, you can't let the CPU pick before us. You pick the first 7 before our 8. If you do so, you'll see we're in a bad spot. Ex: 1. NE Hunter, 2. TEN Shedeur, 3. CLE Ward, 4. NYG Jeanty, 5. JAX Johnson, 6. CAR Carter, 7. NYJ McMillan. We either reach for Milroe at 8 (cause NYG will pick him before us rd 2), go in a different direction, or trade up.

Depending on who the OC and head coach are for 2025, getting Milroe to develop will take maybe 1 year, or more. I got nothing bad to say against Scott Turner, he could be a good OC for the team, but if they get Kubiak, Slowik or Johnson as OC/HC, then Milroe could work out faster for the team by 2026. Otherwise, go for someone like Beck in the 3rd or 4th round or Jaxon Dart. I do agree with round 1 into Jeanty but only if Tet McMillan is off the board.

I can see a case for Jeanty since he's by far the best RB in the draft and a Heisman finalist. I do think people are overhyping him as "generational" as he's no Brock Bowers as a RB though. But yeah, I'd rather pick someone else at first round other than Jeanty if a WR, CB, or elite guy in the Oline is available as the Shedeur and Cam will be gone.

We now have to trade almost the entire draft to move up, trade for Hooker or McCarthy, kill the fan base with Kirk Cousins in FA, or roll with AOC and let the suffering ride 1 more year.
