I would just like everyone to know that a Samoyed is NO easy task to keep. They are for advanced dog keepers. They take HOURS literally 2-3 hours to groom during their shedding season. Showering is no joke. But the hours and hours you pour into them will turn these dogs into the most wonderful dogs you have ever seen.

James not to mention they need to be walked more than most dogs do. Although on the bright said, they cant really over eat cus they burn to many calories to over eat

They are used to herd reindeer to protect their families to baby sit and keep the family warm. Also for sledding. Best dog yet and so warm and tender to little children. Have changed Kids and adults attitudes not to fear any Samoyed and how to approach strange dogs.. And Guys want to meet girls Take A Sammie for a walk. They will flock to Him/her and you at least can get a word in. Luck.
