When I was a kid I was literally chasing every interview, every early internet forum, every gear store to dig down the synths only to get the Timbaland's sounds and presets. But from this era to nearly 6 years ago, I was searching for ghosts. It was with this type of strip down videos I understood that Timbaland was creating his own sounds from scratch by tweaking odd samples. He's a master. He's a real sound designer. I will always be admirative of his legendary work and legacy.

@@killergoverments The answer is in the question. A sampler unlike a synth, is completely empty. Timbaland or whoever working like this, samples a random sound and will tweak the shape, the loop, the frequencies, the effects, the tune and so on to finally get an exclusive sound you've never heard of before.
