Ooo, this is a djembe a would like to buy (just to be like you 🙂 ) But I am a little confused because there are 2 models available for me in Kintekloth green and they differ with tuning lugs. One djembe is like yours and the second one has I would say more standart lugs ( and a badge" Remo "World percussion.Made in USA" a bit cheaper (still both are rather expensive) Which one should I choose ? Do lugs affect sound or perhaps tunning is easier with one set or another or it is just a cosmetic thing? Would be grateful for giving a hint.

I haven't actually tried the second variant of the Remo djembe - never seen one in a store in Europe or US/Canada. Would absolutely looove to try 🤤 The green design is cool because I see them less, have only sometimes played them, but I would actually choose a design which doesn't have such a dark drumhead - I film my drum and for some reason, it's easier to look at my hands do exercises to a brighter background (drumhead).

@@DjembeMaster Thx. You right about color, it can be a disadvantage when you have to record lessons but my dark, cold, metal heart😉 likes that little gloomy design . Jeez I hate buying new stuff 🤪, so many options. Listened to tons of sample sound videos and you know what , now I am thinking about buying djembe from african collection, just like your old one, with the Fiberskyn 3 head instead of that Skyndeep Mondo. It seems to have more warm sound and I just adore your old djembe.🤩
