No church for the wild was a great find but how do you confuse Otis redding with James Brown when they basically told you who it was by naming the song Otis?
@JihiTheMusicGeek9 жыл бұрын

Actually K did most of the works for this album in-terms of producing the beats, lyrics, composing and directing. Yet Jay-Z had the right and took them off from Spotify to tidal. But the world wouldn’t recognize the work of Kanye because he’s so honest on media and talk what he feels like not the audience wants to hear.

music artists don't make money off of album sales, the record label does. Artists make their money from touring and events, the record label usually pays for most of the production of an album and they get up to 90% of album sales

That's why Ye is the best man......he drops MILLIONS of dollars just to get the right samples cleared. And when you're dealing with Michael Jackson, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, etc.....you're gonna pay A LOT of money to that shit cleared. And it costs just as much to get a one-second James Brown sample cleared as it does an entire song by Otis Redding, i.e. "Otis."

This is what I find ironic about my screwed up generation. You got my high school students saying "I can't stand classical music." or "i can't seem to appreciate it." now when artists like kanye and jayz use classical samples in their music, everyones so appalled by it. Then they act like they adore the song. I guess you must like classical music a little bit since thats all they're puttin in their songs?
