I'm not wondering where the song name came from. "Firestorm" is similar to "Sandstorm", which could be a reference to the song Sandstorm by Darude, which could also have inspired SampliFire while making the first predrop. Silly SampliFire!

Kind of a unique take, most people prefer the samplifire from the viking dubstep era + onward. Personally I'm glad he laid down the abrasive sound design a bit, but hey to each their own ;)

@@floodz2089 I mean black label/2015 samplifire. The viking stuff was cool but, I miss the chaotic songwriting of the past... For my personal suggestions to check out, try Psycho Party VIP, Whoomp, Depths Of Hell, Cash, Last Man Standing, Martyrdom w/ Code Pandorum & Midnight Tyrannosaurus, and Necessary Evil w/ Blaster. I'd say these are some of his absolute finest works from the past. Now, in terms of more modern samplifire from DRT, best is the infection ep, by far. No offense to his modern stuff, but it just doesnt feel the same. And I hope he taps into the old 2015 sound design and flow with much better mixing, someday. Theres some serious merit to it, and nobody is making that kind of dubstep anymore.

@@zynet_eseled I'll definitely check those out, I'm not too familiar with his black label releases. Wasn't a big fan of the infection ep when it dropped but I was relatively new to dubstep back then, and these types of track where quite heavy and not really noob friendly. I remember I liked souls back then but I would have to take another listen at the whole ep.
