Make a sampling distribution of sample mean and verify that: (a) μ = μ (b) o = 2N-n n N-1 Q.2 Assume that the systolic Blood Pressure of men is normally distributed with mean BP 120 mm of Hg and standard deviation 10 mm of Hg. Determine the proportion of men whose BP is above 140 mm of Hg. Q.3: A restaurant management tells to its customers that the average cost of a dinner is Rs.500 with standard deviation Rs.75. A group of concerned customers think that the average cost is higher. In order to test the restaurant claims, 100 customers purchase a dinner at the store and mean price is Rs.520. Perform a hypothesis test at 1% level of significance.
