My deepest sympathies and condolences to Richard Sherman's family and the entire Disney family. Your music has stayed with me ever since my first trip to Disney World in 1978 and it never left me. I have dedicated my home to Disney and most of my playlists are all Disney music. I am also thrilled to share the same birthday as Mr Sherman. June 12th. Thank you Mr Sherman for gracing the world along with your brother for the memories and music. You will forever be missed. Rest in peace😢❤

This music writing duo rules. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's such a shame that Robert Sherman died. R.I.P. Robert Sherman, we'll miss you so much. Richard is still alive and sings pretty well. He and Robert were both born to Russian-Jewish immigrants, Al Sherman who was a songwriter and a composer and Rosa Dancis-Sherman. 👍🏻 if you want to meet Richard on Zoom and Bob in heaven someday.

This was the year my family first got the Disney Channel and I thought programs like this were wonderful with a focus on the "Walt" years and a lot of making-of vignettes long before it was overrun with shrill kiddie sitcoms.

One of The Sherman Brothers clients Hayley Mills helped her with songs like "Let's Get Together", "Castaway" and "Enjoy It". Fact: Hayley is not a very good singer, but Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman said "Hayley, just be yourself" and she did. Annette Funicello, another client also helped them with the songs "Tall Paul" and "The Strumming Song"(from "The Horsemasters"). The Shermans also helped Annette with the theme from "The Monkey's Uncle" when she sung with The Beach Boys. Sadly Robert passed away on March 6,2012 at 86. Richard died on May 25,2024 at 95. They will be missed.
