I been looking for some fishtails for my 04 road king,it takes the 2”inside diameter to fit the Rhine heart head pipes,doesn’t look like I’m going to find any.

Our headers are 1 3/4" and our slip-ons are designed to work with 1 3/4" head pipes..

I’ve noticed the gear shifter hits the pipe after I installed my 36 inch pipes. I tried to see in this video if my left side pipe where it joins the cross over was at a different angle but it looked the same. Any advice you could give would be appreciated.

Maybe try to loosen the rear pipe and rotate it away. Remember that the gasket will still stay sealed

@@dondash2781 managed to resolve, you only have about 5mm either side to play with between the rear cylinder and the gear shifter. All good now.

I had the exact same problem. I had to loosen the flange/bolts, and adjust the pipe as far away as I could. Luckily that helped. On a side note, it also doesn’t help that the screws in the hose clamps that Samson provides are really cheap. Those things round out very easily.

@@amanrob after two years I’m still having problems with the cross over connection coming loose and not sealing. It’s like the clamp will not close on the pipe. Driving me mad. I shall be taking it off this weekend to have another go.

I installed 36" fishtails on my 2005 deluxe last year but I feel that they are not even and one of the fishtails is slightly tilted up. What should I do to fix that?
