This actually happen to me. When my dad says he's going out to buy something i wanted to go too. I literally went upstairs and getting ready as fast as I can because my dad was waiting inside the car outside. After i was done i came down and he was gone 😑 so i waited for him to came back it didn't took long. He came inside and i was sitting on the couch looking at him with a face of anger. My guess is that He didn’t want to bring you in the first place. My dad did me the same thing when I wanted to visit my mom at the hospital. She was there for 2 days and I missed her. I asked to come on his next visit, he said okay, be home in 30 minutes after school. Ran all the way home from school only see he wasn’t home as promised. I got home 15 minutes earlier so I knew he didn’t even try waiting. Cried my eyes out. When he got home and I asked him why he didn’t wait, He said the hospital was no place for a child. Don’t get me started on the ‘borrowing’ part.
