In basic tasks, low-performance cores are usually used from what I understand. Exynos 1380 and 1480 have 4 Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz, The difference is probably made by the more modern UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 memories in the A55 and perhaps that is why it is faster.

The others a78 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz (compared to those on the 1380 wich are clocked at 2.4GHz) And an amd (xclipse) gpu 530 wich is (obviously) more powerfull compared to the mali g68 mp5 that has the 1380

Exactly, in more basic tasks, not as much is required of the processor and memory, showing practically equal performance of the two, however, the more complex and heavy the tasks, consequently more is required of the cell phone's processor and memory. Samsung is doing exactly what Apple does. It takes the superior version from a previous year and places it as the inferior version in the following year, removing some features, and updates the superior version from the current year with a small improvement. There was the A34 as a lower version and the A54 as a higher version. The following year they put practically the entire specification of the A54 in the A35, apart from some small things, and gave a small improvement to the A55. Apple does this with iPhones. There was the Iphone 14 and 14 pro max, then they launched the Iphone 15 with the processor of the iphone 14 pro max, but without some things, and they made a small upgrade to the iphone 15 pro max. That said, the company doesn't lose anything, it doesn't need to create much, the architecture is already ready. And consumers are spending more money.
