Will an oven mat work on the bottom to catch crumbs and burnt bits?

I don't own this model but I know how it works and I don't recommend to put any things on the bottom. What the woman didn't said is that the burning elements are certainly HIDDEN under the bottom of the oven, and the fan is only for the convection part of the cooking. So if you put anything at the bottom, the heating of the oven will not work correctly.

I've have this range for a little while now and absolutely love it. Took a bit of getting used to but it's a game changer coming from electric elements. I haven't figured out how to keep the ambient lighting on all the time however, which bums me out a bit. Was really looking forward to using that as a nighttime light in the kitchen

Scroll to the bottom and there is a downloadable manual that should tell you how to use it, along with other useful information. Hope this helps.

How well do the touch controls work if your hands are a little wet? I'm wanting to buy a new induction range, but I'm a little hesitant that most have touch controls instead of more traditional knobs.

I was hesitant buying this with touch controls as you hear horror stories with failed panels but its saved me time keeping my dial knobs clean. Just a easy wipe on the flat display to keep it looking new. Very happy, very fast and best of all its quiet unlike the single aftermarket burners...

I'm not sure I understand all of your message. Programs through The Inisders vary, so that means cost varies as well.

No, it's actually quite easy.

What does the boost and the one next to it do?

I have not used the boost setting yet, but it is supposed to instantly activate the burner to boil water, soups, stock quickly. It is 50% faster than the highest setting. The icon next to, with the wavy lines is the simmer setting.
