Thanks to your guidance about issue location, I managed to do it today in less than 2 hours without cutting any holes. You can get access to it from the back of the printer by: 1) Remove the back door by opening it at around 30 degress and pop the left side first. 2) Remove the 2 screws holding the back door base and remove the base. 3) Remove the metalic plate with plastic transparent pieces to guide the paper. It's being hold in 2 black screws (black color, left and right). 4) Remove the black plastic plate holding in 4 screws - 2 on the right and on the left. be careful with the cable attached to it as it's very short. 5) Now you have access to the selenoid on the left. Repair and assemble in reverse order. Step #4 is bit tricky to get right because you need to adjust a bit the gears on the left side. Enjoy your printer

Good afternoon. Thank you for your video. Yesterday I got such a printer with a paper jam error for free. I did the repairs as you described. The window for access to the solenoid made a little more. You showed the hole through which you could not get to the screw to remove the solenoid. I managed to do it. I unscrewed the 4 screws securing the base of the formatting board, removed the 4 cables from the board and moved the structure so that access through the hole to the screw opened and I easily unscrewed it. Great video, it saved me from replacing my Samsung CLX-6260ND. I cut a larger section out from the bottom of the printer with a stanley knife (that took 10 mins), drilled the hole so that I could access the solenoid screw (I unscrewed 4 motherboard back-plate screws and unplugged the cables to give me more space), took out the solenoid, stuck a piece of duct tape over the rubber pad, put everything back and it worked like a charm. :-)

Both pads are the problem. The 1 on the solenoid and the 1 on the actuator. The one on the solenoid causes multiple pages to be fed when failing, the tiny square on the actuator cause no paper to be fed.

Hi. Did you only stick tape on the plate (as shown in video) or did you do something to the other part you drilled the hole for to unscrew? (In video he didn't bother, so not sure if needed. If so, what is there once you unscrew? More foam to strengthen?) Thanks.

@@MoAli72 I drilled a hole so I could access the screw to remove the solenoid, and put a tiny piece of duct tape over the rubber pad to keep it in place. The printer worked fine after that.

@@MoAli72 I only put the sticky (duct) tape on the plate. The only reason I drilled, was because I couldn't work on the solenoid in place, so the extra hole allowed me to unscrew and remove the broken part.

Hi Terry, I did exactly as you said on my Samsung CLX 4195FW printer and i cut a square hole in the plastic below. So i used a snippet of stick on reflective tape that's used for the cars to replace the small bit of rubber and it works like a treat. Machine working again. Otherwise, it would have been a $1000 machine on the verge. Thanks so much for your video.

Thank you for this video. I have managed to fix my printer. However, a new issue popped "Tray 01 out of paper while printing". Simply opening and closing the tray temporarily solving the new issue!

My problem is that our paper tray is stuck in the machine and, short of breaking something, we cannot get it out. We've been able to retrieve all the paper out so it is empty. Cannot find any access to get the tray out. Any suggestions?

Turn the machine off and on several times. It made the problem worse by removing wallpaper if you left the paper in there you can use the paper as a slide to slide tray out

I followed the instructions but am now getting A1-4112 error. One thing I didn't do was put superglue on the second foam as I'm not entirely sure where it is. Is it directly behind the right side of the plate where you're pointing as you're talking about it?

You have to fix all 3 solenoids at once

I know where 2 are, one is the obvious one for 4112 error (at top usually blue or green color), and there's this one you just showed us in this video, but is third one the area you pointing at?
