Thankfully my bipolar wife saved me the trip back to the store to return this tv. By the time I got home from work she had already smashed the screen in 4 places. So, I did what any man would do… went to Best Buy and bought a Sony 65 inch 120 hz. Needless to say, the tv gets taken down off the stand and put in a safe room when I leave for work. @BrownEyeZo3 try changing the settings in color tone or what ever its called mine out of the box was set to warm. cant think of the setting name but its got Dynamic, Standard, Cool Warm and Film Maker mode. I thought the same thing till i changed that setting.

Your reviews really seem spot on. I know a ton of TVs look extremely similar at first glance, but the deep dive is extremely informative. I've been looking for a decent budget TV (but willing to spend a little more if the right one came along) and in all honesty this one doesn't seem to be even as good as some others I've seen. I was on the fence with this, but your review kept me from biting the bullet (thank you). Even if I wasn't in the market for a TV I love the attention to detail and information in the videos. Samsung DU 8000 is a better buy. I have a Samsung Soundbar with subwoofer that only accepts Fiber Optical. No HDMI Earc or arc. The soundbar is awesome with Dolby and DTS audio.

Initially after switching it on the picture looks fine but after a while it starts developing a grey/white border along all 4 sides most noticeable at the corners. Just picked up an Samsung DU6900 UHD 50" for spare room. How do you set it up to 4k, if possible? So far very disappointed on picture quality compared to replaced Sony Bravia just over 10 years old. Bizarre sizes. Samsung seriously needs to reconsider their tv lineup. They have "Way" too many models. TCL and Hisense seem to keep it more simple. Example, TCL and Hisense both offer a 85 inch direct lit tv at a budget price. Both offer direct lit with 120hrz, VRR, 2.1 HDMI, and most likely better processing. Samsung DU7200, for the same price, does not offer 120hrz, no VRR, no 2.1 Why?! Because Samsung has too many models!!! Frustrating!!!

When you play a game like dirt 5 you have to have to put the game in high frame rate then it will show 120Hz on the TV, you can also press into in the video section to see if your TV supports 120Hz. Sony would have had numerous of videos made about this if they didn’t support 4k120Hz i show on my videos all the time on TVs that support it.
