Just got this in 55". First Samsung tv in a long time, first new tv in a long time as well. I am very happy with it. I had no idea it had free tv with it. First time I have had tv in over 15 plus years. Cut the cord before cutting the cord was cool. Overall I am extremely happy with this tv. Not a gamer, nor do I need fancy $1700 tv features, as I barely watch tv. Good review btw

How tf do you shut the tv off? You press power on the remote and it just turns off and then back on. If you hold it , some weird Home Screen pops up.

@ with a good pc the mods can be amazing. If you want a fun car or racing game try the crew motor fest. In my opinion it’s a beautiful game and I love to go on there and drive. Many races and missions with the origins of cars.

What are you looking for? Picture? Sound? Need more info to help I have 55 and Now this 65 i bought today. If you are looking for a soundbar go with Harman Kardon or JBL, Kenwood or even pioneer, for the 7.1 dolby surround sound.

Just bought this tv CANNOT watch without signing up for a Samsung account. So, I did that STILL can’t watch tv. What am I doing wrong. I admit I’m not tech savvy, but I’m only 55! Just got the 85” and hate it. 60hz Is very noticeable with a screen this large and tizen is very slow and unresponsive at times. But then again I’m coming from having a LG C2 65” so I’m kinda spoiled when compared to this tv. Returning it and going to replace it with a TCL Q6

thanks for this review - I'm looking at buying this for casual gaming and movie watching. My receiver is from 2010 but still works great for surround sound but only hasan "Optical In" option for sound coming from the TV - do they make a converter cable to covert eARC audio out to Optical in for an older receiver? The receiver is a Pioneer VSX 920. Thanks for any info!

@toad1971 There are adapters you can use for that purpose, but at that point you'd be better off spending that extra money and getting the DU8000 series TV. I have a very old 55'' Samsung Smart tv just bought a 2024 LG 65''' open box for $400 + a 5 year warranty the ports are in a different location my nice chrome swivel stand has no place to mount bummer. It's heavy, I think i'll return it and get another 55'' Samsung after watching you video Samsung DU7200's are going for $379.00 with a 3 year warranty. We just watch tv , not used for games etc. we have directv which is not worth it for what you pay can't fast forward through commercials at time and get charged$3.99 for shows you watched before with no charge the biggest challenge will be packing the 65'' LG for return .

I swore off of LGs about 8 yrs ago when I had a 4yr old LG that suddenly had a back light compressors go dead. I went online and read many comments of LG owners who had the same exact issue. No more LGs for me thank you very much. I'm a Samsung person moving forward. I have a 43inch Samsung with the thick black picture frame i purchased for over $1k back in 2006 and with the use of a Fire Stick IT IS STILL WORKING FINE!!!! Fast fwd to yesterday, Black Friday 2024 and we just purchased a Samsung Crystal 7200 for under $400. It's our 4th Samsung purchase. Before that we purchased a 75inch Samsung 4 yrs ago and had geek squad mount it on the wall of our great room with wires hidden inside a conduit inside the wall.

@Dini3385 The Dish Anywhere app is not currently available on Samsung TVs. If you have a Firestick device you can download the app onto it and use it that way, but as of right now it can't be downloaded directly onto the TV.

Happy so far just purchased last night. Can't get tv to find my Yamaha reciever via Bluetooth and that reciever has actual speaker wire to some very nice but old speakers. So maybe I have lost the use of both. Crap oh well.

@stephenpaulrichard1403 It's possible that you're receiver isn't compatible with the TV using Bluetooth. The other thing to check is how many products you already have connected to your TV through Bluetooth. There is a limit on how many it can recognize. You may want to try clearing those items off your TV and then try to connect the receiver again.

@jaketalerico9158 If you're looking for something to use with your PS5, you'll want to take a look at the Q70D series or higher. Those models will allow you to take advantage of what the PS5 can do, like 4K/120Hz and VRR. The DU7200 does not support those features. You can still use a PS5 with it, but you just won't be getting the most out of the system. How do you change channels when the remote has no numbers on it? Also, would "Direct Lit" be better than "Edge Lit"?

@DRayL_ There are a couple ways to change the channels. One, you can use the channel up and down button to scroll through, but if you need to jump to a channel that's far away you can press the settings button on the remote (there should also be the numbers 123 on it) then press to the left on the directional pad and you should see a little screen with the numbers 0-9 pop up. From there you can type in the channel you're looking for. As for edge lit vs direct lit, direct lit is often considered the better option, but in some cases the difference is hard to see.

Just bought a 85in DU7200 and it sucks because I can't hook up my Bose sound bar system because there is no digital optical port. If I would have known beforehand, I would not have purchased this model. My 65in Samsung had one. Just a warning to anyone getting a new TV. The sound from the tv is barebones at best.

@jamesmatthews6881 If you're looking to get the most out of a PS5 and you want to stick with Samsung you'll want to go with at least the Q70D or Q80D. The DU7200 is only a 60Hz panel so it can't do everything a PS5 is capable of doing.

@julian2524 We wouldn't say it's bad for PS5, but it doesn't support all the features that the PS5 offers. To get the most out of the gaming console you'd ideally want to get a TV that supports 4K/120Hz and variable refresh rates, along with a brighter picture and deeper black levels. The DU7200 is an entry level TV so it's more limited in its feature set. Some great TVs for the PS5 would be a Bravia 7 from Sony, a QN85D from Samsung, or a C4 series OLED from LG.
