Had mine a week now and it's awesome. I've updated to Android 14 One UI 6.0. I turned off the 90htz refresh rate to 60, and turned on power saving mode, and disabled animations, (which has made the phone much faster) with no impact on the performance at all, and the battery lasts twice as long - you can thanke later. Wasn't aware of the force apps to sd, so I've done that, tks. It's great that you can move most apps to the sd, and uninstall others you don't want. It's good that Samsung is listening to their customers. Great review, tks. Edit: My speaker doesn't sound bad at all, and the volume is sufficient.

Great review! Thank you! I have one of these phones and am really very happy with it. I've migrated from iPhone to this... basically I refuse to spend thousands on a device when all I use it for is email, browsing and some social media. This phone does more than the older iPhones and performs better - so unless you game on the phone - why bother with something more expensive? The camera is good enough and the only time I ever listen to music using this device, is in the car, via my infotainment setup, and using my JBL headphones - so the speaker really doesn't matter. Voicenotes are audible enough. Highly recommend this phone and again, thank you for your detailed review!

There is an M15 now The same specs as A15 but has 6000mlA battery, and someone on KZbin made a battery drain test with this M15 and it lasted for nearly 17 hours of screen on time of continuous You Tube playback (no games or other tasks just You Tube) this is amazing and a flagship may not last as long as this . ​@jjjnani

@@annepakiam8922 I bought it and I am very satisfied. The screen is not the brightest, but it only "fails" in bright sunlight. Anywhere else it is alright. The battery life is good for me. Function-wise, it did not stutter, stumble or crash in the weeks since I have it. The phone's feel and build quality is not high level, but acceptable. It is sure adequate for the money. The device is simple and has what it needs for convenient usage. To my opinion it is the best mobile I could get at this price point at this time. I paid USD 135 for the 4 Gb. For comparison, my wife has a Nokia in the same price range. The screen is better and the device is sturdier, is better haptically feel. But the battery life is like 1 day only, and the SOC is slower. My own Xiaomi is technically better, but does not work as solid as the above two.

buy atleast a midrange trust me, these budget phones will last you 6 months before making it nearly unusable, midrange nowadays beat some flagships and last many years and are supported for updates for many years aswell

@@annepakiam8922 I bought it 2 months ago, I am happy with it. I don't game with the phone so it's all I need. The screen is nice, and for me not dark. I miss a few lux only in bright sun light. It does leave a positive impression with me after these two months. There is some junk on it but with few exception most can be removed. 4 years update guarantee in my country! Is that nothing? To me this device has a better value than all the low cost Xiaomis.

I just bought the galaxy A04s like a month ago and it's the best phone I've had (I'm a budget buyer) and I like the 50mp camera and 10x zoo on 12mp camera mode but no night mode unfortunately but I'd like a taste of a mid tier or flagship phone one day. This phone ao5s seems ok 👍

I couldn't help but notice you mention dark mode benefits battery life, but that only applies to OLED or mini LED displays. I believe plain white color actually draws less power on LCD. Therefore I'm curious to see the new A15, which is the first A10 series phone that will feature an OLED display.

Correction on your dark mode comment. In this phone it doesn't help with battery life as it uses a PLS LCD. This type of screen can't turn off its pixels like an OLED can. Only an OLED really benefits from a dark screen as it literally turns off pixels to show true black.

Wait until this guy gets a hold of Chinese budget phones. For the majority of the people outside of the NorthWest, emmc storage is actually an uncommon feature on budget devices. Most nowadays have UFS 2.1 up to 3.1 in some cases. and AMOLED panels with high refresh rates are becoming more and more common. You'd be surprised to see just how good most budget smarphones are in comparison to Samsung's own line-up. Go take a look at the Techno 20 pro or the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, for example.

It's kinda stupid that they didn't put NFC on this phone. For 2023-2024 this feature should be a standard. People are required more and more to make card payments and smartphone manufacturers should be aware of that. Thumbs down for Samsung for this stinginess.
