This could be a false assumption but my thinking is that the battery used in these devices is lower quality. It would degrade much faster than the S series phone batteries if they regulated it for 45W QC or something higher. If that’s the case we could be stuck on 25W on the A-series for a while.

​@@xcidgaf Your assumption is so wrong. I've had my Samsung A10s as my daily driver for almost 5 years now running Android 11. It only supports 4000mAh and a 5W charging. And I can say It definitely outruns the A14 charging speed. I also never liked the A14 because of how bad the stuff is inside/outside of that phone. It's shaped like a brick and It's slower than the A13/A12. I'm glad the A15 is back to the original A1x root now which is smaller.

As it is superAmoled screen the black you see is actually pixels that are 100% off saving some battery as we know superAmoled displays has no backlight bleeding so default charging screen takes no battery bcs 99% of the screen is black I.e pixels are off only the word on the screen are pixels that are turned ON only
