This was my first budget phone after using various iPhones over the years. I came from the iPhone XR to this and I fell in love with the budget phone world. It also restored my faith in Samsung! I now prefer OnePlus and even Motorola but wow! This little phone was AWESOME!

As a photographer, the A20 is surprisingly effective for outdoor and landscape photography. Even though I’ve upgraded to another phone, the photo quality is so impressive, I still carry the A20 with me when I know I’m going to be getting some landscape shots. The wide angle camera works amazing in daylight, especially on sunny days. Combined with a b&w filter, you can get some awesome artistic shots too, especially in major cities.

Beauty effect. It's annoying. I have the pixel XL and there is no camera better than a pixel line up of phones. But this camera is good. Terrible in low light but it does good in lit up shots. Photos are brighter than they appear in real life. Pixel is a step way and beyond any samsung not just the a20

@Jin Samsung cameras are full of gimmicks. They will never be as good as a pixel 4 or iPhone 11 regardless of 100 times zoom. Samsung filters just oversaturate every photo.

@Jin 8k? Lol. What device are you going to watch that on? Human eyes can't even see in 8k resolution. It's total nonsense. Why don't they do 20k . It's like the LG G8 with hand gestures that were hit or miss. It's something no one will ever use in their life. They won't be selling a lot of the s20 ultra..last year the a10 was the highest volume selling Samsung . I'm happy with my LG V50. Does what it needs to do and I paid $300 used.

When you get into budget phones you usually don't get good pictures when you shoot into the Sun as you did with the tree/road picture. The shadow of the tree is directly facing you in the parting lot. So you get no color...

I disagree. The camera on this phone are terrible esp on the wide angle camera. Really nasty distortions on the wide angle. Night shots are more often blurred, but very bright. Too much highlighting in most shots even with HDR.
