Do you have to buy a new camera too since the crack is over the camera. How does that work?

Not on this one, but occasionally. The glass is separate from the camera and the camera is very well protected. Most of the time the damage is only to the glass so replacing it clears up the camera view.

Thanks for the feedback Shawn. I try to make them quick on purpose so viewers aren't having to fast forward and skip with the idea that you can pause after each step. Yeah hair dryers don’t get as hot as heat guns so it will take longer.

You need to replace the screen.

With the frame is a LOT easier to do. If the cost isn't much difference I would recommend with the frame.

It depends on your area honestly. Usually around $150 I would say.

When the battery gets separated out you have to rip some kind of sticker. Just a heat shield?

The sticker under the battery? That’s the adhesive that was holding the battery in.

@@JoeDoesStuff I mean the foil on top of the battery where it connects to the mainboard. I saw that you ripped it in the video but didnt really mention it. I wasnt really sure what it was but anyway it all worked out. Thanks for the guide.

Is the display good? Its my 3rd time repairing this phone and I'm done relying on 3rd party shops buying displays literally broke after slipping from my hand to lap. Also thing I noticed was screen tear on the middle sometimes. Please let me know the quality of this display

Most 3rd party screens are just as good as the original. I always recommend testing the screen before completely installing.

Hi Joe, Just got the display and testing it I can see some yellowish things on the bottom. Amazon says the display is bad and the option is to return it. Is there another good display?

That’s the display I used. Chances of you getting a second bad screen slim. It’s just the way the aftermarket repair world works. China doesn’t do as good of qc for aftermarket companies like they do for the big boys.

Those are two separate parts. Nearly every repair shop offers warranties on their repairs. I would suggest calling them and having them take a look.

I've got a question. Idk if you'll even see this or if anyone can even help me or are willing to.. I put my Samsung A20 in my back pocket while walking and forgot. I pulled it out and noticed a crack in the corner, I was so sad. Only had it for about 7 months and love the phone. All was well until the screen started bleeding or burning. It started small and now the whole screen is unrecognizable it's all color burned? I ordered a refurbished replacement. However, if I can replace the screen that would be amazing. But.. can anyone tell me if it's just the screen or LCD or what?! Please.. help me..

Are you talking about the round antenna cables? They are the exact length necessary so they will only fit to the right connectors. Color isn't really important.
