hello, i was wondering how you would replace the powerbutton? do you just take it out when you are at 4:50 ? or is there an other way

Hi, the power button clicker which is on a flex cable is held down with adhesive to that frame at the time stamp you provided. It is one flex cable together with the volume button clickers and you can gently peel or pry it off the frame. But if you are referring to the actual physical button that you press on the phone from the outside, that is on the back housing and its the finger print reader which you would need to replace, that is the physical key that presses down on the clicker to register powering on the screen and off etc.

@@PBKreviews i opened the phone and i tested the fysical clicker, i could feel the pressing down click but it dit not responde. the volume keys do work. als i can not find the fysical clikcer on the internet. samsung says i need to send it to their repair service

Hi there my son broke his screen so I bought a replacement I took it all apart an put the new screen on,the phone was working other than broken screen before I swapped them over an now the phone won't come on,is there any chance u wud no what the problem might be please.

How long do i need to keep it under heat for the adhesive to let go

It doesn't just let go, just gets less strong so it can be pried off a bit easier. You will still need to use either a suction cup or a thin tool to pull up and get in between the back and frame to run a tool across and pry the back off.

Well you want a phone that works, right? Poking around energized components is very dangerous for them. Besides, there is a lot of power stored in that cell so a short could end up... heated.

Yea so my speaker and charging sucks, so I went once to the service and they instaled a new one sub (flat/flex main) cable and that part with chargin and speaker. After that, I came fast to pick phone so it was not so good closed. I mean, 2mm above was the back. Moving on, wen I drop the phone on the back, speaker and charging dies. Than I hold back, than punch it and it works. Sth conects. Over time it worked. No, it doesn't. I opened the phone without any normal tools, and I now realised after seing your vid that my SUB cable is not conected on the top, but idk had sth happend down there... after a few moving aroung stuff there (holding hard down and moving sub) speaker worked from time to time, but charging didn't. Now I idk can charging not be working just cause of that cable, or I need to replace that base down where the phone charges? Hope I don't need to...

Try doing a backup of your data and doing a factory reset to rule out software issues. Or software update etc. Aside from that, I would lean toward a defective camera or some other issue.

make sure all the cables are connected and not loose as well as the motherboard seated properly. Also make sure the back housing which has the antenna contacts or flex cables is seated and in place to make a connection with the main board.

@@ometzu yeah it turns on by it self and goes black screen again and rarely actually runs i think our CPU or hard drive is fried

If you are referring to this model phone, it could possibly be the charging controller chip that might be located somewhere on the motherboard underneath the shields, or it might just be the phone antennas running in the back ground or other processes running in the back ground of the phone.

I replace my screen then after the camera is not working and also the flash. It says that it is being used by other apps. Already tried opening it using safe mode and also factory reset it. Anyone have an idea to fix this?

The only thing I can think of is that something is shorting. Try taking the phone apart and making sure everything is in place properly. Aside from that, maybe a chip got damaged on the main board. Not sure.

The mainboard looks like it isn't made by Samsung, because the board isn't blue, and this is the first time I see copper tape in Samsung phone.

The color doesn't determine the manufacture, since I have seen green motherboards for Samsung before. Also ya Samsung tends to use graphite and graphene pads more often instead of copper tape but sometimes manufacturers can use different parts depending on costs etc. So not 100% sure but can't give you a definite answer whether the board is from Samsung or not.
