Samsung Galaxy A25 Review - Exynos Problem?

I am using this phone and i never experienced any lag since i bought this

I've been using the A25 for about 2 weeks now, and it's been wonderful! I'm not a heavy user. However, the quality of life software features with samsung are amazing! I used a Redmi Note 11, and for the software alone, I'd heavily stick with samsung! I'm now firmly rooted with samsung. If the Pixel can't woo me later in life then samsung is my forever band 😅

Got an A22 5g, aside from updates it still does what it supposed to do. The A25, in particular the 8 Gb RAM version is pretty future proof. The 1280 is ok but not groundbreaking and updates till januari 2027 makes it a solid package. For €20 less there is the A34 8/256 to be had, yet will get less longer update support, still a very solid (Dimensity 1080) phone.

​@KoalaBeer. I have the a25 5g with the exnynos and it runs fine. I use the phone like a normal average user. I don't keep more then 4 apps open at a time. And it's super smooth. This guy in this video had a million apps open and thats why it was lagging. But of you only keep a thew apps open. Then it's super smooth

It has 3,5mm jack with clear audio output (I tested the jack with low impedance, high sensitivity earphone such as CCA Lyra), and boy it's so satisfying to have a listen to. But, what sold me into buying this phone is how powerful and clear sounding this phone is when paired with my EPZ TP20 + my earphones collections. They sound so clear and satisfying. I'm not sure how they perform with other phones, but I definitely do not want noisy audio output of which my older Redmi Note 7 (Snapdragon 660) produces when paired with them (including CCA Lyra directly from the phone's 3.5mm jack). I can't wait to get my hands on Audio Technica MSR7b to pair with A25 - TP20 combo. (My earphone collection consists of Moondrop Aria 2021, Moondrop Aria SE, Pi Audio DR2 Pro, Hidizs MS2 Mermaid, and Whizzer Kylin He01, all of them had their wires replaced with 3rd party wires with 4.4mm plug, plus CCA Lyra with it's stock wire and 3.5mm plug).

The A34 is slightly more expensive where I am, or even same price in some cases. Has Gorilla glass 5 , better processor, IP rating, matt back etc etc

The lags and stutters you're having, I don't think it's cause of exynos, I think it's one ui 6. On my s21 and a54, since this one ui 6 update, I've had lags and stutters everywhere for reasons I don't know. Hopefully, samsung will release a patch soon.

@@thoughtstorn854 I've had zero overheating. Had it for a month now, and no lags. Samsung recommends you restart your device, so just set up automatic restarts once or twice a week in device care. It's an amazing phone for the price.

Exynos here and there. Everybody is too lazy. You need at least a week to optimize and customize everything the os needs for using it properly. Blaming lags at this price point is rediculous.

You also probably chose to ignore where I said the lesser A15 is more optimised and doesn't lag as much. That's a cheaper phone. @@wagenneunundvierzig there are well optimised Exynos processors and I'm well aware, even go on to defend them in my reviews, like the A54, S23FE (Exynos). But there are also really poor ones like the Exynos 850, and the ones that could still use a lot more optimisation to reach its potential like what we have on the A25. It makes sense to let the viewers know that while it's a great device, occasionally you will experience some unexpected lags.

This is going to be a hard sell for me. ₦305,000... Sheesh... At that price, I would rather go for something like the s21. It is a much better alternative. It comes with a flaghip snapdragon 888 procesoor(from a few years back) which would smoke the exynos 1280 in all areas. Aside from that since it was a flagship in its time, there was no major corner cutting. You essentially have better phone for less money. No doubt, the A25 is a solid phone, it has great specs and all but at that price, imma be getting the S21, no questions asked.
