After my S5 & then using my wife's old S5 lasting 5 years between them (& batteries wearing out so quickly even before they got old) yes, as everyone is saying the battery is unbelievable. Had it about 9 months now & had no probs at all. I realise the camera isn't as good as more expensive models, but for me photos are as clear as I need. Get one.

yo when you review phones can you record some audio with the video? its extremely difficult to find people who actually give demonstrations of the audio recording - and phones vary heaps and MOST of them are terrible

I'm actually using this phone. Battery life is amazing. In terms of gaming, it's okay. PUBG has frame drops, COD is better, Asphalt 9 works fine with frame drops every now and then but not glaring. Mobile Legends runs fine. The main camera sucks in dim light but great under natural light.

@@jala4525 Yes, and I realized the main reason why it was doing that is due to the tempered Glass I had installed on my phone. So, I have yet to find online for a specific tempered glass that works well with our phone. If you find anything, lemme know.

Using the a31 as my work phone, great device, my main device is poco F1, the a31 is snappy, great audio quality through headphone, although audio can reach only up to 96khz/16 bit, I was really suprised for good. Using poweramp the output is great. Screen is fantastic,battery is great,camera is decent, cant ask for more.

@Dan Don no... No such thing... if you are updating your software then yes this could happen but a simple factory reset will solve this issue... So not a big deal if you have a 128 GB storage (that's how much i have) after you have the new One UI 3.0 update installed... its highly recommended to reset the phone to factory defaults...

Yeah, great phone I reckon. I just got the A31 with 128gb storage and 6gb ram. Beautiful screen, quite quick, nice build and loving the long battery life. I was still using an old iPhone 5 lol. Good for its price, I recommend.

I just got A31 yesterday and I amazed how good the camera is. I was iPhone user and got used to the iPhone quality but when I compare A31 to IPhone 7 I don't see much difference in quality of taken photos. I'm pretty satisfied.

As a person who owned mine for a year i can vouch for it. Great daily performance. Over 1000 hours of genshin impact with zero issues. All those hours running at 45°C and no noticeable drop off in battery capacity. I have upgraded to a S21 Ultra that i bought off my dad for cheap when he got the fold a few weeks ago and i still have my A31 as a backup with my 2 business sim cards in it.

Hey there I hope you are safe I just saw your review about this phone and I am so grateful to you for this review. And yes you are right in every single technical notes you displayed. I have the a30s and as an former iphone user I was very disappointed with the mediocre sound quality of the phone comparing to iphone the camera quality pictures especially the night shooting. Sometimes I take a good shot but when you zoom it there when you see the flaws. Honestly I would prefer to buy an iPhone in a heart beat rather then using a Samsung. Apple faithful really

I own this phone for over a year and I can say that this phone doesn't degrade quickly. The performance is still great and the battery also. Battery still lasts a day easily on regular use high brightness with 20%-30% at the end of the day. When gaming, I can play 2-3 hrs straight, and it goes from 100%-60% high graphic settings with HFR on Mobile Legends. Then, the priority mode on the Game Launcher of this phone is certainly the game changer. It really maximizes this phone's performance when gaming. Kinda disappointed because it doesn't have night mode and its refresh rate is just limited to 60hz since I paid 14,990PHP ($297) for it and I noticed most competitors on the same price range usually have that kind of features. But no doubt you would not be disappointed on the display. It is gorgeous.

Had a J7 Pro before i got this, only thing i miss is the Samsung Pay option, other than that its an amazong phone, battery lasts a lot and even then it recharges very fast, games run fine, fingerprint is a nice touch. The videos do not play full screen, instead they keep their 16:9 ratio and have black bars, you can fill the screen but lose a small portion of the video you play.

Get the A31/6GB version OR wait and see if the regular A71 will drop in price now that the A71/5G version has been announced for $599. If the A71 is only $50-60 more then an A31/6GB, the A71 might be a better way to go. Only time will tell...

I live in Australia and I just bought the 6/128GB variant of this phone for $359AUD (US$257) and I am very impressed. The only disappointing thing is that the camera has no night mode on it but it isn't too much of a bother since I don't take very many pictures during the night anyway. I also don't play graphics heavy games too often so I really don't care about its gaming performance.

it is comfortable in the hand because it is only 731 mm wide. I wish all brads would realize that this makes a big difference in the hand

I just ordered this phone and it will be my first Samsung. I am seeing lots of comment about the fingerprint feature. You don't have to use that feature or the facial recognition either if you don't want, isn't that correct? Can't you just use press and hold to unlock?
