If you were in the market for a new phone which would you buy? The A42 is the more expensive yes? But if the A71 has a nicer clearer screen for reading text and similar performance I'm tor between the two. I thought a 1080 screen would be the min nowadays. But only 720 on the A42 seems bad. THoughts anyone?

There is one thing that extremely impressed me about your phone. IT WAS YOUR BIBLE APP, AWESOME. I have a LGG7 that is giving me problems but was an AWESOME phone when I got it used (almost new). I compared it side by side and it was not as good as the LGG7. Verizon can upgrade me to the S21 with a trade in but my LG is damaged and they will not take it. The A42 is not dust or water resistant as the LG is waterproof.

1:48 Those are Chinese characters. Since it's written in Traditional Chinese, it's very likely that your specific model was intended for the Taiwanese market.

That great battery life is due to the 720p display. It sucks when you have to decide between the 2.

I think 720p is the best for eye care. Those high res screens are bad for eye sight. Also I think the battery is excellent compared to a52. 👍
