@@TechLineHD very well done actually. Accurate as well..but I will say. The A5 replaced the samsung S5 for me. I had been using the S5 for like 6ish years. Imho it's like an S5 but actually has the hardware to operate its featured uses. I mean No ..its still not like it counter parts. (The S8, S9, etc) but I love this phone. Especially once you unlock dev mode..lol battery life. Ram. Screen display and sound customization...its perfect for someone to utilize this phone to its limits in which ever way you choose to this time around...kudos to Samsung.. lol

After almost 2 years with this phone all i have to say is that this phone is beast. I dropped it few times from pretty big height, not a single scratch. I use it rougly, all day and still get above 6:30h SOT, and it almost never lags. Cameras are even better now than before due to software updates, and they are pretty good. Everything just works fine and smooth, and i came accross a lot of devices and still haven't switch this one for them. I honestly never had any phone for this much long, but A5 2017 really surprises me every day, it's like a flagship not a midrange phone. I would def. recommend!

yes true. I do have A7 samsung 2017 and it's amazing for my work and light gaming. coming from s7 edge and iphone 6s. the fact is s8 or s8 plus gpu musch higher than A7 if you hardcore gamer just go for s8. Still, A7 2017 is best in everything you can and smooth .

Its perfect for the price. Other devices for this price look terrific. Don't forget this is 2017 not 2016 or 2015 model phone. Design is very good. We buyed it for 350$ US dollars without a contract and unlocked for any network.

TheMilenkata I think it is a good and welcome change for Samsung. I actually just saw 2 for $304 and $312 respectfully. If you can get it around that price, I think you're getting a decent deal. $400, not so much. Looks good with decent all-around specs though.

WE get it the beginning of February (02.01.2017) and after one week of use, the black paint from the metal started to fall. From Samsung tell us that this is impossible in their repair shop. It's really disappointing when you give 350 US $ for that phone and after one week in use with ORIGINAL SAMSUNG COVER (Clearview cover) this happened. Last phone was Samsung and this one is Samsung. But never again will buy Samsung. Also forget to mention that the phone never hit the floor!

Its buyed from one of the biggest firms for electronics in Bulgaria. The return for new things is 7 day from the date when its byed from the store, and 14 days when its byed from internet. Well in the 8 or 9 day of use I see that the paint is going off from the metal frame of the phone. Now the 7 day rule by law doesnt affect the store anymore, and they told us go and use the guarantee. The phone was two days in the official dealer of samsung for repairs and they called us to receive our phone back. When we arrived, they told us very arogantly. The problem is not from the phone. You drop it and that's why this happend. End of the story. You know when a phone with this kind of display and metal frame its dropped on the ground its gonna have some cracks or the metal is going to have clues from the hit to the ground right? Well the phone doesnt have nothing from this,but they told us with rude voice. Its dropped! Then i get mad i talk with samsung, they sayed we can do nothing if the repair service says that and this is. I upload picture to Samsung Bulgaria but no reaction of that.

I bought my A5 couple months ago. Paid 267 € for it ( in Finland). I have no complaints whatsoever, it works perfectly and the built-guality is excellent. It fullfills my needs perfectly. It was a competition between A5 and iPhone 6. Your review pretty much decided the race in favour for A5, so big thanks for that😎😁. A Sidenote: Strangely the price has gone up, rather than down. Cheapest price is 301€, but it can cost up to 360€ depending on the dealership. Again, this is in Finland. I find this phenomenon quite peculiar. Anyways, keep up the good work! 🤓

The "Always On Display" is draining the battery +- 25% faster. Trust me, I've literally tried it, bought new from the store, no apps or what so ever installed yet, no use of internet, didn't even make a call with the device, etc. It literally does drain your battery faster by about 25% (give or take). I disabled it aaaaaand...... yep, 2 extra standby days, oddly enough. Go figure, huh.

Farhad Afsharnejad the performance is amazing very fast no lag what so ever, i havent had any overheating, the cameras are awesome but it leaks at stabilization but it isn't a deal breaker. In my opinion its one of the best midrange phone of 2017.

Hi. Every Samsung phone before Galaxy S6 used a lot of cheap internal hardware components. That's why the phones slowed down over the time. With this one you will be ok. I had the Galaxy S3 myself....

I have samsung galaxy A5 2017 and yet the camera stabilization issue is the only "problem" despite all the great other stuff the A5 can do and the only solution I find to be working for getting a nice focused pictures is to always shot with the burst mode. You might have to spend some time after taking your pics to choose the best out of the burst shot but in my opinion that is the only way to get a clear shot with this phone. 😊

DarkShadow64 this phone is gr8 and I personally think it is at par at op 3t considering it is still a bit costly than the a5 op 3t's camera performance is better than a5's but gaming is gr8 on both the devices as they are not much highly or ultra graphics games on mobiles. But still ur op 3t Overkill's it A5 has an IP68 rating which makes it a lot more durable and rugged phone for our Indian climate. Samsung has service centres all over the globe where op does not. IN THE END I JUST WANNA SAY THAT BOTH DEVICES R GR8 WID OP3T BEING BETTER, M JUST SAYING THAT D A5 IS GR8 PHONE TOO

Eh...no. The GPU is inbetween the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S5's performance (but much newer API support, that helps) and the CPU is worse than the Galaxy S6. There's also no UFS memory like the S6, S7 etc. This is a midranger, priced like a high-end. Barely cheaper than the S7 and notably worse

Hi it's a great video I have that phone too. But when I record video and upload it to KZbin it's quality is not as good as yours. What settings do you use to upload video here. Is there special settings before uploading or rendering application. Could you please let me know thanks

KZbin processes the videos hence the video quality decreases.... You can't do much about it
