out of all the reviews for this phone, your review was the most helpful information out there. seeing how the phone is well capable with just the basic specs (phone calls, texts, GPS etc.) it fills in all my basic and professional needs. thank you very much with your input on this phone since i was not too sure about my purchase and was having regrets now seeing in other areas it is passable for media needs but it is good for again, for basic everyday functions.

I remember watching your review before buying a A5 2017 2 years ago, After how laggy that phone got I decided I was never gonna buy another samsung midranger again, but I probably would have moved onto this or an A70 if I wasn't lucky enough to be able to get my note 9. I hope they fix the image processing for lowlight case... The photo detail is good, but sadly it's only when you're in a good light condition, lowlight photo contain so much noise.

Very good review. I picked up the A50 with Verizon for 240.00 USD. The display, good cameras and large battery 4000mamp nice. For the price it's kinda a no brainer, I highly recommend this phone!

I took a closer look at this phone in a Samsung store, the screen is beautiful tbh same goes for the weight and design. question though! the phone doesn't have an ambient light sensor, so is the auto brightness accurate / responsive ans does it turn of the screen while making a phone call when it is on my ear?

it can record 4K with "open camera" from the play store...for those who like to view in full screen, "pinch to zoom" does nothing on youtube (don't know why...), the battery life is super, ~7 hours of on screen using onli data and a brightness level of 50-70%, the fingerprint is...well... it.s there, not the fastest, but it.s there, it gets the job done, and it.s very futuristic, when I unlock my A50 everyone goes "that's awesome", I hope a future update will bring some emprovements to it's speed and camera (I have a friend that has a Huawei mate 20 lite, he took better pictures, while zooming in, my A50 was loosing all details, the mate 20 lite not),
