On my Nokia 8 I can play on ULTRA/HDR or EXTREME/smooth. S8 has practically the same processor. I don't think on the A50 can play PUBG in HDR and ULTRA fps (I don't have an A50, so I'm not sure). Maybe HDR and medium/high fps. Anyway, snapdragon 835/exynos 8895 is better than exynos 9610 (210k vs 150k in AnTuTu) and in 1-2 years this difference will feel pretty much in favor of the S8.

Go for S8..it has amazing camera, the video stabilization is great, lowlight photos are much better, not much difference between the two in daylight...But Overall S8 is better with better performance in high end games and Camera.

If you are into heavy gaming and likes to play high end games like pubg or fortnite go for S8 plus....also the night camera performance is also better on s8 plus, and you also have the option to install gcam which produces amazing picture quality in hdr and low light conditions....only downside is battery back is not as good as Galaxy A50...

overall i love your video just one problem though.. when you said real world gaming performance i thought you were actually gonna play the game opening the games have to do more with the cpu while rendering the game depends on the gpu a50 opned all the games faster because the cpu is more or less on par with s8 but as you can see in the benchmarks, s8 had 3d game performance score of almost 3 times of the a50 real world gaming test will only be seen if you play the game, not just open it

I had purchased Samaung A50. However in my opinion the speed is much slow compared to my old Xiaomi Note 3.... Also Camera is worst ever I experienced. Samsung is clearly bluffing the 25mpx camera. The output of camera is of very low quality, completely blurred & grainy. if you colour print the image in photo quality printer you will get truth about camera. The 25Megapixel Camera is giving output worst than 12 Megapixel Camera... Sound quality is also not good.

My S8+ battery in a sense exploded or popped after 3 years so beware. I tried to get it fixed but there was nothing they could do. It broke the front and back panels when it broke. The battery was like a water balloon, it luckily didn't pop. It was fine one minute next minute not. Wasn't in hot or cold temps and wasn't even on. Just started to die and when I came back with the charger it was like that. Was a great phone though. I even took it tubing in a river in Colorado and it was fine though water exposure should be limited. But that was a whole year before that happened so it wasn't because of the water exposure.

@Lilly Cat Yes..the camera quality depends on various factors like pixel size, aperture and megapixel is just a part of it..higher pixel doesnt always means better picture...instead higher pixels causes noise in photos and also affects low light photos....

Whats damaged is it screen or back panel? If its screen and its expensive then its no use of repairing ...if its under 5k then you should repair it...

So I bought a Galaxy s8+ on Amazon that is brand new for $300 and just found out that I could get the A50 for $324 on walmart.com. so should I try to return my galaxy s8+ and get an A50 or keep my galaxy s8+? Don't return your Galaxy S8 plus specially if you want to play heavy games as the Gpu of Galaxy S8 plus can easily handle games like Fortnite which Galaxy A50 wont be able to run..also the curve display of Galaxy S8 plus is still one of the best displays in the market till now

I got the S8+ and i gotta say that its good phone but it can be simply crashed cuz i was playing with my dog and the phone fall down from the sofa thats like a half meter high and it got about 4 scratches on the stupid screen and after that 2-3 months i was sitting with my fr on the chairs that are not way too high like 70cm high man and it fell from my pocket on the carpet then i was scared like to look to the phone then my fr showed me my phone and it got 3 more scratches and i gotta say that i loved that phone but no more love for it now im like asking my parents A samsung A50 for my Bday thats on 4th december so i really want a phone like that By the way you that have A50 did it fell down ever and did it get scrathes ??
