Because of the brand, build quality, ip67, 5 years of software support, goodlock, Knox security vault and ONE UI. Yes, Samsung is for me but if you’re a gamer, battery efficiency, fast charging and like extravagant design go with the Realme 12 pro+ coz SD is made for gamer unlike E1480 kind a more balanced.

Photos and Videos doesn't do justice to the premium feel of the A55. Grabe paghinawakan mo ung railings ng A55 very high quality and the quality of the AMOLED screen is superb.

I feel like this video is all over the place. You didn't show the zoom on the Realme, which is the main feature of the phone, and you didn't even use the 67w charger that is included in the box for it.

I like flat screen cause it's easier to maintain, curved screens look more appealing but it's hard to find a good screen protector also ghost touch is a issue

Mas maganda sa akin ang flat front, side and back, kasi madaling makabili ng tempered glass ang mga front screens, sa sides naman, halos lahat naman ng phone users uses phone case, depende na din sa case na ilalagay mo kung curved yung sides ng case, sa realme kasi curved yung screen, mahirap maghanap ng magandang tempered glass, hydrogel ang bagsak mo, gaya ng GS10+ ko.

when you use the phone, you look at the content on the screen and not on the bezel. its not so bad as these reviewers tell you.

Watching this on my Galaxy A55! I'm loving this phone and I don't have any regrets of buying it. I've been a Samsung user for a decade now and I'm completely satisfied what samsung galaxy phones is giving. I'm not a heavy user so this phone suits me well 'cause it's more of a well-balanced phone. Everyone is talking mostly about the cameras, battery, performance, display, etc.. But for me, it's really the security that what's more important and Samsung is a pioneer to that especially now. Yeah, some may have a better camera than this one, or have the brightest display, greater performance but software wise, durability and longevity, the Galaxy A55 wins.

lol hindi mo napakita/ namention yung zoom at 67w charger ng realme. kung pagbabasehan lang sa camera at performance panalo si realme 12 pro+ 5g because balance siya. yung samsung a55 maganda lang yung software update but for me not worth the price unlike realme na madaming features at upgrade na sulit for it’s price.

As a tech channel, you should also add the current promotion if there's any. So consumers can consider din. For example, you failed to mention that there are free Samsung buds worth 5k and adapter for A55. Also, additional discount if you have an old Samsung phone to trade in. PLUS, student discount for students. How come no one mentioned those perks? Lol.

I really love the look of the realme and the periscope camera does offer more flexibility than the A55's macro one but I'd still pick the Samsung because of available expandable storage and better software. Truly appreciate this comparo, which goes quite in-depth on both devices and is significantly better than the Honor X8b vs Cherry Aqua GR video from a month ago.

patawa yung samsung, marami dito nakaka experience samin HAHAHA maganda lang yun cam nung una tas habang tumatagal lumalabo. yung sa kaklase ko ganun rin. panget nung a55 mas maganda pa nga a54 kahit nag y- yellowish yung quali ng cam.

I wonder if the big round camera design sa Realme 12 pro+ does have a feature or design gimmick lang siya. I can't help but disliked yung camera design niya since it looks a bit too bulky and gives more a big surface prone to scratches. Ngl, A55's awesome lilac design and build was very neat and classy enough for me to choose it. But the camera performance also matters, sadly. Is why I'm looking for more reviews enough to make me pick one of them.

@@andrexskin Since you care about camera performance, it might be better if you choose a Realme phone. I end up buying Samsung A55 myself and I can't help but compare my camera performance with my old phone (Realme 8). The pictures I've taken using A55 tend to blur when you zoom in unlike how Realme takes high detail images sometimes I'll even strands of my cat's fur. But what made me happy about my Samsung A55 is that how the phone feel comparable to their flagship phones at midrange price. It's also packed with so many features without necessarily bloating the UI. Not to mention the overall impression that A55 gives this "premium" and sturdy feel. Performance is nice and the bright colors from AMOLED + great audio really gives a better experience when I watch videos. It really depends on what you need. 😊

@@MoiraiScarlet Very interesting! Indeed the A55 this year has a very premium feel and has a lot of interesting features that are in higher tier phones. Camera doesn't seem bad for the price from what I've seen but Realme could be a bit better, specially in zoom pictures where it will use optical lens. The software package from the A55 is really wonderful though, add the good multimedia experience coming from the phone and it's not hard to guess why you're feeling great while using the phone. realme has made many upgrades and added a lot of features. samsung has good software updates but it's a no for me in terms of the camera, and for gaming too.

Wala palang RAW photo capabilities mga A series out of the box. Meron namang function na ganun (enabled by root) pero dinisa le ni Samsung. Para sa kapakanan ng S-Series? 😂
