i remember i literally got a drop of water in my a5 2016. It started to act weird at first, and when i tried to turn it off, it would say it was charging and then boot up again, so when i finally managed to turn it off completely, i put it in rice and waited about 30 hours, and the phone worked just as well as it did before the accident! If u drop ur phone in water, just try to turn it off, or take out the battery if you can, and leave it in rice, and dont even think about touching it unless it has been in the rice for at least 20 hours.

I dropped my samsung A3 in the toilet 2 days ago , and at first the touches didnt work , and the lock tip! but after than it fixed my it self. And after one day i putted to charge and nothing happened , it was not charging, so i was disparate, so i thought ill take it to the reparatory , but after that i had th idea of cleaning the charging connector , and i tried to charge and it worked :D . Just charing the idea if someone had the same problem :)

What about if a dropped it on a shallow water like the on in this video for 2 sec? Can i just use it straight away without bring it to a phone service or pack of rice? Because i dropped my samsung a5 2015 phone like i said above and still working really well but i am afraid to continue using it because it may damage my phone however i am so tempted to use it now because its still working well when its on, does that mean 2 sec not enough for the liquid to spread? the reason why they survive is that they have glass on the back which means a metric but ton of glue that yust seals the internals away realy well
